an excellent continuation of The Black Ocean series! this is probably my favorite book series it doesn’t get much better than space wizards!

was an outstanding adventure! the development of the background and the characters was very good and I love the banter between the characters. many occasions caught me laughing out loud listening to this story.

Every time this author creates an amazing experience, listening to Mort and young Carl literally fills my hunger for great content.

Beautifully written and the performance was great. Can’t wait for the next two to be released on audible. The Good die Young and Lyin’ Guys. Wonderful back stories for Mort and Carl.

The narration was great The story was excellent and felt like it just pulled you into the universe they were in yeah Firefly and kind of like glorious bastards mixed with wild west rock and roll adventure with sarcasm and humor and heart.

I was intrigued by the plot synopsis and comparisons to Firefly. Unfortunately, it isn’t on the same planet, much less the same universe as that show. The characters are superficial, obvious and grating. The stories are just as another reviewer described – like RPG role playing. I mean, even Good Night Moon has more depth…

An epic tale bound in a series of amazing stories. I can’t believe it ended but was happy to experience this universe of such grandeur.

This was suggested to me by my friend and after picking it up, I couldn’t put it down. 84 hours of pure gold.
