Really makes me think if Crafting a violent world of monsters fighting massive wars and fighting to survive was really the best use of world building. Metagamer chronicles is a the dream of any D&D player or GM and executes it’s self flawlessly.

This is by far the best of the three mission packs! This is a complete adventure with huge scope, and growth, depth and transition of characters! And, all my best praise again for this narrator!
I loved the mobius missions and wasn’t sure which black ocean to do next. I feel like I made the right choice with mercy for hire it was on par with the mobius and loved every part of it! Wesley Wesley is the best! Thumbs Skyward sport!!!!

This isn’t a work of art and the writing isn’t perfect but it’s just enough to make it good. There are multiple stories but each are hours long and satisfying. There isn’t as much of a connection with the characters although as the book progresses this changes. Please note: you can’t really skip a book..

a great story and what a ride. I should’ve read thirds before mervy for hire
I loved this entire series, I was enthralled and engaged until the end. I can honestly say as a Firefly fan, the author setting out to give it sequel (in spirit) was mission accomplished! The narrator made the story come to life and really added depth to an already amazing tale.
This series built itself up really well. I came in from the sci-fi side of Morin, not expecting to really get into this. I was overtaken within a few hours, and chewed through the whole thing in a binge. saddened to see the final seconds playing, and a somber satisfaction at the ending I’d predicted..
amazing series and amazing reader. keeps you wanting more. hope there’s another coming really soon

Excellent character development. It’s a long series of stories but, the author uses the time to create characters that feel real and stories that are anything but cookie cutter. Not your typical sci-fi.
Mary Sue Richilieu is basically omnipotent for 90% of the story so what’s the point? The whole Black Ocean Universe exists around and solely for Esper.
