I loved the first two books, the character development and action. The third book fell flat in comparison.

These books were a bargain, and I wasn’t expecting them to be great. But I was intrigued from the first to the last page. I thank the author and narrator for providing me with so many hours of listening pleasure.

While this isn’t quite as good as John Scalzi or Craig Alanson, it’s still very good. It’s also an AMAZING bargain!! The complaints I saw in other reviews I found barely noticable. I hope the series gets continued in some way. It’s very entertaining.
This is a book where the author decides that the narrative is best conveyed to the reader/listener by describing the story in extremely lengthy expository narratives rather than allowing the characters themselves to do so in the form of their dialog.
