If you’re a fan of the Black Ocean series, this is a great addition to the universe’s story. The story largely follows Cedric The Brown, who was laying low in the space station he nearly destroyed by in the previous “Galaxy Outlaws” series, as he and his fellow station dwellers try to unlock the secrets..
I was very pleasantly surprised with him much I enjoyed this series. extremely fun. the characters were unique and the world building was interesting. especially liked the dynamic between magic and technology.

It’s nice to find a fresh premise after going through hundreds os fantasy books. I didn’t know this author, and I was turned into a fan. Well developed characters and an engaging plot for sure, with very little shortcuts for a novel so long. I’m going for other work with this double author/narrator.

I have listened to well over thousands of hrs of audiobooks, and (much like the narrator) this series has perforated many parts of my life by the characters and themes presented. Thank you, both narrator and author, J. S. Morin and Mikael Naramore, for such a beautiful experience. May we get to experience more.
