If you’re a fan of the Black Ocean series, this is a great addition to the universe’s story. The story largely follows Cedric The Brown, who was laying low in the space station he nearly destroyed by in the previous “Galaxy Outlaws” series, as he and his fellow station dwellers try to unlock the secrets..

Great fun with space rogues.

Listening to the series is pretty much like watching a TV series. The narrator was outstanding and brought an individual life to each character. There’s not much depth to it but it’s a great story. It’s not an odyssey, but it’s not meant to be either. It’s excellent for what it is. I personally couldn’t..
Longer than it needs to be, but a pleasant listen

I found this book about twice as long as it needed to be . There seems to be a lot of duplication in battle scenes and character development that was irrelevant to the main narrative..and the characters that were essential were still pretty shallow.Still, I bought this because it was long and would stay with..
It’s nice to find a fresh premise after going through hundreds os fantasy books. I didn’t know this author, and I was turned into a fan. Well developed characters and an engaging plot for sure, with very little shortcuts for a novel so long. I’m going for other work with this double author/narrator.
I freely admit that I’m a cheap Audible user. I sort by title length when searching, always looking to get the most hours of listening for my credit. I came across J.S. Morin first with his Robot Geneticists series (60 hours), and was hooked; it seemed like the listen was over in no time. Next..
Hands down they very best audio experience EVER!

I have listened to well over thousands of hrs of audiobooks, and (much like the narrator) this series has perforated many parts of my life by the characters and themes presented. Thank you, both narrator and author, J. S. Morin and Mikael Naramore, for such a beautiful experience. May we get to experience more.
