This is a great series all around. I think anyone who wants something different in there life would like this book. It does at times get annoying to listen to all the complaining of the characters but i still highly recommend this series.

time to start Mercy for Hire, I love this series. can’t even stop listening at work

Imaginative and well thought out. it is quite annoying how many times the character sheet was read out even for the smallest change to a single stat or EXP. The ending was nice and well told.

Before even making it to the the Aurhor’s note at the end, I had this series pegged as a spiritual successor to Firefly and Serenity, with added literal magic. Carl is a play on Mal Reynolds, and a bunch of the crew of the Mobius feel like members of the Firefly’s crew. I picked this..
