Aside from the fact that it is clearly written for kids based on it’s simplicity and unrealistic situations and dialogue–I am really struggling to keep going. I have no credits at this point, and nothing else to listen to, so I’m trying.

For just one credit you get almost 62h of really good audiobook! This was a really great ride too, Well written, great story arc, lots of interesting characters. Some discussions between characters are absolutely fantastic, also lots of great humor.

I expected a lot from this. What i got was a thin plot and overly annoying surface characters. This felt like fan fiction. I have no idea how it got such great reviews. It was never adventurous, funny or clever. quit halfway through the first book. Hated Naramore’s character voices. Felt annoying and cliche.

Initially I found the two main female characters to be unbelievable annoying. Eventually they just became a mild irritation to an otherwise interesting story. The Japanese character kept using “ancestors” as some kind of interjection but as someone who has Japanese family living in Japan, I’ve never heard anyone ever use that kind of exclamation…

This fun series is inspired by Firefly. It has outlaws that are the good guys. The curmudgeonly old wizard can be sweet, but don’t get on his bad side or he’ll kill you. Overall a very exciting story.

If you love the Wheel of Time you will love this. Also a great fit if you love the works of Brandon Sanderson.

J.S. Morin truly outdid himself with this collection. Each character was fleshed out and had me on the edge of my seat as I listened intently to the next plot or intrigue that they caught themselves in. After listening to the Awakening series this book I was hoping for a continuation of the first books adventures but was sadly disappointed. The story fell flat and so did the characters.
