This is by far my favorite series I’ve ever read! The interconnection of characters and conflicts of war and power make every second more intriguing. The use of magic and enchanting makes thing sooo Interesting with an infinite possibility of paths for our beloved characters to take!! Sooo good!!
This book is read like it’s being presented to kids at nap time. I can’t think of anyway else to describe it. It’s on me for not previewing. Don’t make my same mistake. Pass on this one

Whatever you choose, this series is worth exploring. The characters are artfully blended (literally mixed for optimum effect in post-human society) to deliver a superior story. The characters and plots are so engaging that the apocalypse is almost inconsequential; although very well crafted.
This was recommended by someone in Facebook Firefly group. This has been a great story that feels inspired by Firefly. And they didn’t kill Wash!
It isn’t my favorite of Morin’s work, but it is well written and thought provoking. I can’t put a finger on why, but I went through these books quite a bit slower than his other arcs. Still, there is nothing wrong with them, and there are some really good moments throughout.

Great book but esper richelieu was my least favorite from the original books. she can be so annoying I sometimes wish this soon off followed anyone but her.
Nearly returned this book because of the terrible narration on the first 14 chapters. I mean it’s awful. Then the narrator gets his act together and the story comes alive and the narration becomes one of the best. I’m amazed at how one can be so terrible then so great. Stick with the book… It..

If you can ignore the nonsensical chime sounds every time a chapter ends you’ll be able to enjoy this audiobook. The story and character building was great but, for some reason, every time a chapter ended there was a horrible swishing chime sound that drove me nuts.
this book is 6 books for one credit. cant get mich better than that. was an engaging story and kept me interested the whole time. highly recommend.
