good story line for most of it but then strays off into some boring political crap between the kids. completely skips some very good opportunities for interesting scifi investigating alien tech. then kinda gets back on track in time to end. seems author just lost focus or got tired of writing it.

Honestly, I didnt even finish it. I made it all the way to the final bool before.i just couldnt take it anymore. There is some really good Characters and when the action actually starts it is really good and enjoyable. Out of this universe amazing. Chaotic neutral to chaotic good. Fun, characters with great development.
I do a lot of driving and so I listen to a lot of audiobooks. I really enjoyed this first because it’s a good number of hours for a single purchase. but after listening to it I really got hooked to the story. the plot in the ideas are exceptional in my opinion something new..
From the fun narration, to the emersive story, I was enthralled for all 80 hours. Thank you J. S. Morin!

it was honestly hard for me to get into it after reading the previous three books, however once I got past my favorite characters not being around I began to enjoy it and then I absolutely loved it had a great ending.
I’ve read most of his stuff and must admit that I was hesitant about this series. No more! I’m going to dig in to the next twin born series right away!
