This series of books was so well written and performed that the characters become part of the family. By the second book you are emotionally attached to the crew and their antics. Great mix of magic and science, absolutely love the rules of this universe.

I just couldn’t get into it. I had a 6 hour flight too, and I used all 6 to listen as best as I could, but … seriously, 86 hours of this total? No wonder it was so cheap. I’m returning it
good fun this time around, less engaging space opera however, more if a clue who dun it with side diversions. sets up for an epic follow up however.

Started off a bit weak. The story takes a while to get going but near the end I was wishing there was more.
Very entertaining sci fi story with memorable characters and great integration of science and magic.
80+ plus hours of fantastic story and great narration that is sure to keep you in your bunk just listening through each mission.
It was a journey to say the least. 83 hours. The story is emersive. It’s like binge watching 40 movies. Listing to your favorite friend after years of no contact. Catching up on old times. There were a few moments where it took a turn i didnt like. But Carl didn’t like it either, so..
I thoroughly enjoyed this series! Over so many chapters, it’s impossible not to get attached to the characters, and wonder what the future holds for this “family”.
story and performer are outstanding. the crew keept me company for my drive too and from work this winter.
