mostly got this just for the length and value, but fell in love with the story, working my way through it a second time now!
Though admittedly not the best written story, plenty of inconsistencies and narrative coincidences, I didn’t really expect it to be either. The characters and stories are so much fun, I can forgive all the technicalities, and I appreciate this series for providing a stress-free good time.

Made all the better for just accepting the magical nature of extra-system travel and running with the idea. You do wonder why they stop mentioning Carl’s hair though…
as always, j.s. Morin did not disappoint! this book was great enough for me to type the lame 15 words this review system requires even though my first sentence is all I wanted to write.
Worth every minute spent listening to it. Some stories drag out but this one keeps you involved. Leslie Howard’s narration what’s inspired, there was no question which character was speaking each other on voice, inflections, and personality. She is definitely a narrator to follow.Oh, and the story was good also.
it is the spiritual successor to Firefly. nailed it.and it did so without being exactly like Firefly.
Esper is my least favorite character of the Mobius crew (present and past). A little too sanctimonious, which sometimes causes her and others trouble. However, I trust J.S. Morin to spin a great story. Didnt disappoint. I’ve heard the tales of the Mobius, Astral Prime and now Mercy for Hire. can’t wait for the next..
