It’s solid, consistent story telling and the world building is top notch. To be honest though, it took a little to grow on me. Be prepared for the long haul when you start this. It’s definitely worth a listen although you might want to take a break here and there.

This was one of those series that hooks you and doesn’t let you go, it took me about 3 weeks to listen to it entirely. Mr Naramore does a fantastic job bringing the characters to life, do yourself a favor and get the book you won’t regret it.

Over 80 hours, and I still wish there was more. The narrator really brings this alive. I’ve been caught laughing out loud at the gym and spending too long sitting in the parking lot before work. It’s a long journey, but worth it. Enjoy!
The stories were entertaining. What sucked were that the stories would not flow from one file into the other. It would skip around and get you confused as it might be part of a story that you did not hear yet. This is a technical issue and audible should fix this.
this was an amazing collection of books that I have thoroughly enjoyed. if you enjoy high fantasy and well orchestrated plot along with deep and coherent world building then I recommend you pick this up at once.

good book following 1st set..ending happened a bit abruptly and the middle was a bit dragged out so to say..still good book
A long but enjoyable audio book. Not quite Firefly, but you can definitely see the influence. I loved the magic system as well as it’s conflicts with technology. It was very entertaining for me. I could easily see this as a 2-3 season TV series.
