Comparing this to Firefly isn’t the way I would have marketed it, because its different. Instead I would have said that its fantasy meets scifi for 80 hours of pure fun!

This was everything that I ever wanted. What happened to Firefly was a tragedy, but what the Black Ocean does for it is probably the most beautiful thing in the world.

There is a battle between calvin and the dragon missing. All of the sudden the story skips ahead and makes references that are missing. please fix…

it was just like Firefly and more. This series is definitely worth the 1 credit.

loved the series, my only complaint was the narrator’s mispronunciation of certain words. overall fantastic story, great performance, and now i’m left wondering what i shall listen to next that is as good and as entertaining!

Let’s face it, what an amazing value! Well worth it. Fun characters and a great reader.

Purchased this collection fully expecting to avail myself of the audible return policy. Nope. 80+ hours later I purchased the next four black ocean books currently available. I’m typically a “sword and shield ” kind of reader, and so I was dubious about getting into a relationship with space and blasters, etc. But it was worth it. Great performance and story line.
