If you enjoyed books 1-3 this will be just as enjoyable. I think what I enjoyed most was getting to know more about the history of how the robotic world came to be. The narrator is totally incredible with his range of voices and passion in the role. The story line took a little to get used to but I enjoyed the book mainly due to Mikael Naramore. I will definitely search him out as a narrator.

Comparing this to Firefly isn’t the way I would have marketed it, because its different. Instead I would have said that its fantasy meets scifi for 80 hours of pure fun!
This was everything that I ever wanted. What happened to Firefly was a tragedy, but what the Black Ocean does for it is probably the most beautiful thing in the world.

loved the series, my only complaint was the narrator’s mispronunciation of certain words. overall fantastic story, great performance, and now i’m left wondering what i shall listen to next that is as good and as entertaining!
