JAM builds worlds and series as few can, and this series is no exception. Memorable characters, intricate plots, robust worlds, and vibrant narration await.
9/10 from me defiantly recommended granted one character annoyed me to the very end just the way the character was written seemed bratty/childish Was narrated really well so I’ll be getting more books with this narrator for sure
The story is confusing as an audio book because it goes back and forth between two worlds with similar people. Even the characters swap worlds at some points. The narrator is pretty rubbish. He does country western and hillbilly voices but it’s high fantasy. And it’s it even consistent voices. It’s really bad.
This series lives up to, and far exceeds the goal of being a spiritual successor to Firefly. Not having known that was the author’s exact intent, that’s how I have been recommending it to friends and strangers alike. Thank you to both the author and the narrator for bringing this to life. This is a fun series by an author that is not afraid to tell a story. The narration is top notch on a level with RC Bray and like Bray brought out the best in the story. Bravo to the author and narrator.

This could be one of the best book series I’ve ever listened to. I didn’t know until the end of this book that it was inspired by one of my favorite sci-fi tv series. Firefly. The narrator is incredible and I am about to start the next book set. I love it thank you guys.

I held off on this series because “Magic”. As a sci-fi fan, the idea of mixing the fantasy genre in didn’t sound very appealing.
