Apparently this is missing parts of Chapter 27. There is no description of how the battle with the biggest dragon and the destruction of the shield are accomplished.

The stories were great fun. Loved all the characters. Hated all the F-bombs. Almost quit listening because of them. But the characters & storyline were compelling.

Wow….just….wow. I knew going in that the author of this series unashamedly admits to being inspired by Firefly to write this series and even create these characters. If you are a firefly fan you should get this. It is written as if he wanted to just plug in our firefly names and film it as more firefly. The narrator could have been a tad more excited in the action scenes but maybe he was attempting to portray the take it easy attitude..

I like the series over all just wanna make that point. But the characters in this portion of the series were much less likeable and the book seemed all over the map…

This is more like Morin’s other work. The story and character development move forward at a much better pace than book 3.
