This is one of the best space titles I have listened to its great fun and long so you get your credits worth. I hope there is more from this rag tag team of space pirates/conman /heroes.

ok, so 80+ hours should be the new standard in Audible sci-fi. Finally something that lasts more than a couple days.

I had a hard time putting this book down. all 84 hours of it. truly fantastic use of the author’s engineering background to make sense of all the reasons things work the way they do. I want more. I need more. I will wait for more.

Absolutely one of the best, most light and fun books. If you liked Firefly you will love this.

Characters you grow to love, and a story that keeps you guessing. an adventure of the best kind. “Lets be bad guys”.

This is a fun formulaic episodic space fantasy. Listening to it all in one stream is not advised. But it is well worth the time. Just remember to not binge listen, I took a one week break and split it in halves. I really wish I just listened to an episode every couple of days..

First of all, this is no more Science Fiction than Star Wars is. Second, it’s great. The author explicitly states this is meant to be the spiritual descendent of Firefly/Serenity, and I’d say he accomplished that goal. I’m old enough to see James Garner as Carl, so the old Maverick show is a similar vibe…

Not only did Mikael Naramore read this series extremely well but his different voices for each character was amazing. At one point I actually wonder if there was someone else narrating because his voices were so good.

This series helped fill my need for more Firefly. The stories were will developed and the characters brought to life.
