Was looking for a Sci-Fi book series to keep me busy and this hit the spot. Also a great deal for the entire series.
Had me hooked from the first chapter. This should be made it to a TV series!

About 4 chapters in and every character that’s a racist, xenophobe or would be rapist has a distinct southern accent. I’m not easily offended but its easy to see how these men feel about people with accents like mine. Their ignorance is offensive. I wish I could get a refund
The spiritual successor to Firefly, I loved every minute of this 8 hours.The narrator is beyond excellent. The writing and world building is superb. I usually only listen to audio books during the day when I’m in my truxk, but on multiple occasions I took it inside to and listened for hours.

…… to get used to the narrator but then it turned in to an amazing twisted story that was never short of excitement. I loved this book and now I have a new narrator I love as well.
After listening to the 5-star epic audio book of episodes 1 to 16.5 (85 hours of action, humor, and amazing writing and narration) – I saw there was this short story. It’s good. But, if this were to be the introduction to the characters of the Black Ocean stories, it might lose some potential listeners…
2nd book story are out of order and makes it hard to follow. the rest of the story are a good time.
the narrator really pulled me in and was perfect for the story. hope to hear more from him. The story was awesome. hopefully there will be more

i don’t write reviews often, but I have to say this was just a simple and enjoyable storyline. The narrator really gives the characters personalty and help you feel that much more engaged.
