love Mort character someone you could relate to even though he did a riffic violence in the story. this is definitely one book that I feel you really get your money’s-worth as a reader and the way the story was written kept you hook the whole way through.

the performance was great, lost of variance to each character, loved the Mort and Kubu. As for the storyline well premo in my book. with the mention of firefly auther is right wanted so much more too. this was a great read. can’t wait till the next release. so much more to do with Kubo..

I listened day and night til done. Morin’s attempt to “pick up” where the Serenity’s crew left us succeeded far beyond my wildest hopes. I can only hope Carl, Amy, Mort’s new ID and Esper reappear from the Deep Astral soon.

Absolutely awesome and epic. Fantastic characters good and bad, and wonderful narration. Worth every minute.
great story that kept on going. narration one of the best. I felt connected to the characters in a way that I’m a bit sad the ride is over…did all 84 hours in a week.
I was surprised I loved it so much. Good at making me want to empathise and identify with primary characters. Friends get in the way, but they can also save you from yourself theme.
honestly the best most immersive book I have listened to to date. and I absolutely love the fact that the series is kind of like Firefly with magic.
