Esper was a bit much. I didn’t enjoy her as much as the other characters, at the end she was ok

Not much mirth and mayhem but an incredible amount of the life and times of a confused transgender 8 year old boy with the worst parents in the universe. Was this the same author as Black Oceans: Outlaw? I only attempted to finish the book because of the awesome performance by Mikael Naramore.
