I bought this so I’d have weeks worth of falling asleep audiobooks. But honestly it’s an awful series. The biggest problem I think most people will have with it is that it’s not grounded at all! They treat magic like a joke instead of trying to make seem like it could be a real thing…
Not a fan of scfi, however I loved the plot and the characters so much that it easily won me over.

always enjoy Mikael naramore as a narrator. but the storyline was kinda limp. I made it to the second book and was just bored and quit listening. it was like oatmeal as opposed to bacon and eggs with potatoes and toast.
Terrible narration. Mediocre story. And fake swear words. I hate use the real ones or don’t use them at all. Save your credit.
