Twisted. I liked the narration but storyline was wacked. So unrealistic and totally not real. I will not return to this author!
A lot of people complained about the characters lacking depth, or that’s it’s “nothing like firefly”.. but the real complaint should have been all the self righteous religious crap from one cast member aboard the crew. robots wanting to be human is not a good story idea. these were some condescending rejects. I hope all get recycled so we do not have to waste time on hearing another story like this.
J. S. Morin and Mikael Naramore produce such compelling stories that I can barely make each collection last a week. The pacing, cleverness and adventure never fail to disappoint. I can only hope that their work continues for years to come.

since the jumping between characters doesn’t connect right away. although; once you know the characters and how the story flows it is pretty great. I’d recommend it. Now on to book 4 for me!
Book 1 was a struggle. Some moments in book 1 were cringeworthy. But stick with it! Both the writing and the narration improve into a great set of stories. Well worth a credit.
