Hard to catch on at first. Had to rewind and listen a second time to catch on. Once I was a few chapters in I enjoyed the story very much. Narrator did an amazing job.

i just wish there was more. i would love to see what happened to esper and kubu. the narrators not even choked me up a bit

Good story. Ending was weak. But a good oppressive robot story. Told with liberal views. Why think for your self when a robot can do it for u.

This was an excellent series. I loved every minute of it. When I got it, I was expecting annother installment to the Black Ocean series. I guess I should have looked a bit more closely at the description.

So many glaring plot holes, obvious plot devices, and outcomes you can see coming a mile away. Every opportunity to do something clever or unique, was instead done with weak character choices or outright idiocy. Could have been great.

every last one of these stories and related stories are great. get them all.

I saw ads for this on Facebook claiming it was like Firefly. I was afraid it was going to be a derivative, coat-tail-riding, substandard work. Fortunately, I also saw that the omnibus was one credit on Audible, so I got to find out how wrong I was. This wouldn’t have existed without Firefly, true. But..

This is not my first Black Ocean story. I enjoyed the first book that was 85 hours and Mercy for 92 hours but, this one at “only” 62 hours just dragged on. Maybe it had too many main characters but, it would branch off to side stories that really didn’t matter to the core story…

I’ve been listening to the series for a long time now. I’ve listened to them multiple times even. This one took off in a weird tangent that played to politics and not the story. He should of stuck to the original story and not messed it up to appease the 1%.

Really enjoyed the entire series of missions. Wesley stole the show, I would listen to 30 hrs of the Wesley and Kubo adventures, as long as Carl and Mort made cameos
