I would definitely wait until you finish the previous Black Ocean series before listening to this one. These aren’t my favorite characters and Larkin does a great job of creating one worth hating to the point I almost wait listening I disliked Cane so much.

If you want an entertaining, easy to follow story with fun characters, try this series out. It’s a unique sci fi/fantasy mix which I found to be a nice way to eat up a lot of drive time. Worth the time and investment.

i didn’t know why this story sounded so familiar. at the end it was revealed to be a spiritual linking with the show firefly. it brings me great joy to have Nathan Fillions character as Carl Ramsey. an outstanding series and a wonderful character development.
I gave up after 20 hours. this book just was not for me. I tried.
