The whole story was hot. I will read this again and would love to read a part to this book.

This is a spicy, quick listen with great characters, and enough plot to move the story along. Imani i a strong female character with a high powered job who is on a work trip. There’s an evening mixer and everyone is bringing a date…expect Imani. Luckily for her, her friend’s husband has a brother in..
I’m just glad this writer is evolving her writing skills even though I’m starting to use the phrase kill my engine! A kiss on the forehead, on the lips, on the cheek for the babies. It’s on repeat in my head.
The characters were well developed and memorable… I particularly liked how the author provided explanation for the character flaws/weaknesses without diminishing who they were.
Review from A Staten Island Love Letter 4: The Forgotten Borough →
This book was just unnecessary trials and tribulations. Cheating to cheat. People being mean and stupid just for stupid sake. Ghost, Liberty, Priest, and Stanton got on all my nerves, not to mention Chanel, Laverne and Maliah! why, just why?
Horrible depiction of bipolar 2 and mental health issues in general. A psychiatrist would not approach treatment the way that’s depicted in this book. The whole thing was just far-fetched and unrealistic.
My Mission in my next life is to find me a Mission. I really enjoyed the character development but most importantly – My main man HOLT himself made an appearance- great read!
It was a bit unbelievable and very predictable. The readers were cringy. They sounded like white folks saying the n word. honestly, it was hard to listen to.
