This book completely grabbed me and I consumed every word. I loved the characters and the gut-wrenching drama. However, I was disappointed in the way it ended.
I’ve heard so many good things and wanted to love this book like everyone else but I simply could not. Don’t get me wrong the story was definitely cute, but something about the actual writing and performance was so cringe. 2.5/5 rounded up to 3
Such a wonderful second book in the series – just as good if not better than the first (Dark City Omega which I LOVED). Again Elizabeth Stephens hits it out of the park with having a beautiful, smart black MFC who is complex and kicks ass. The spice is great and Lord Yaron is 🥵
This wasn’t the greatest listen. I feel like the storyline was dragging and then at the end the story just cut off 🤦🏾♀️
