I usually don’t want books to end. This one was waaayyyyyy too long. I had to stick it out. Both narrators were hard to listen too. Not the right tone for the story. There are a lot of twists and turns. I did appreciate the two love stories and how they evolved.

Christmas in September, loved this story and the characters so much. Such a cute, heart warming read.

I didn’t learn anything new from this book. Same information is in the book Lovely One.

I have followed Carl Weber’s works for quite some time and I have to say this is the worst rubbish to bear his name. if he truly wrote this trash, he has lost his touch. At best this book should have been a side story with the true Duncan’s being front and center. Very disappointed…

Love this: I can’t understand the actor that plays marquis. He swallows his words. Also, is his name John or Jean? Narrators say different names. Other than that great great great

I loved reading this book on a black woman being loved ! It focused on healthy love which is what should be spread around

I love the Family business series, I love how this family will always have each other’s backs through thick & thin. I love to read about other family characters from previous books

I enjoyed it but I don’t like the cliffhanger 🙄😬. Want know what happened next can’t wait til the next book

There will definitely be another book to wrap up all the loose ends. Can’t wait, this was everything I hoped for.

The story line was a little drawn out, but it had good character development. The voices didn’t match the story at all. Way too stiff for all the AAVE this story required.
