I liked the characters which grew throughout this coming of age story. I liked how the supernatural elements were infused with the mechanical contraptions. The story’s tension ends, but listeners know there is still a lot more to the story. I don’t know much about WWII Czechoslovakia so I can’t comment on the history involved…
Read book 1, then read this one, and then tell me your not just as speechless as I am right now. Also, the audio for this? 👏👏👏👏👏 well done!!!!!

I thought the heroine acted really silly and immature. The authors use the common and annoyingly stupid trope of her trying to act independently when we all know she is not capable of defending herself or solving her problems on her own. Also, what is it with authors having the women try to save everyone..
The Noss Saga is absolutely riveting. The author’s ability to conjure up such rich and detailed characters and world images make this a delight to read. The storyline will leave you on the edge of your seat such that you won’t want to put it down. The narrated version is really well done as well!..
The story and characters are all so real. The pace is perfect and development is precisely what is needed. Amazing and engaging. I cannot recommend it enough.

The second book stands on its own merits. While there were moments that seemed to drag, the overall composition was spot on. Wish there had been alittle more payoff for the slow burn, whether that be verbal declarations or physical demonstration, but the final scene was 😘 perfect
All the reviews so far as correct. This is a story for anyone who loves pride and prejudice mixed with Star Wars/treasure planet, and the lost city of Atlantis movie adventure plot! Cannot wait to listen to the second
