Loved this short, simple guide by St Alphonsus Liguori! Production is basic and straightforward and doesn’t get in the way. Just a bit over an hour of great advice that a legit holy man provides that will legit help you to keep you in conversation with Our Lord!

Enjoyed listening to this book. I’m taking this to heart! The narrator did a marvelous job.

The many different apparitions of Mary over time is quite astonishing. I did learn about these apparitions and the people involved. The speaker, however made it a struggle to pay attention.

It can be very difficult to listen to, the atrocities set out in a clinical manner, but it is important. It is important to see how it happens. This book does a good job showing how people justify doing awful things. It does a good job explaining how it happens. As we see it happening..

Dr. Esolen is a gifted translator, who has a keen ear for rhythm and harmony, but not a literal translator, not here, and not in his Dante. His footnotes are excellent, both here and in his Dante. The reader does a spectacular job, with just enough interpretation, and never interfering with the meaning.

I listen to this at work on repeat. Humility is something I have resolved to work on. Great value here.
