Took a while to get into

Review from Dream a Little Dream →

I wasn’t crazy about this at first, and I doubt I will continue the series. I thought each book was a different pairing, I didn’t realize that it was the same couple and an VERY slow burn it sounds like! Not my taste. The storyline with Aaron’s parents is interesting, his mom is sooo creepy!

Ok

At the moment, I find it entertaining in the way a well constructed conspiracy anthology is entertaining: it has momentum, it is confidently narrated, it stitches disparate cues into a single totalizing story, and it rewards the reader with the pleasurable sensation of “seeing the hidden structure”. Mind blown

Review from If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies →

A very clear and straightforward argument for corporations and governments and all of us to stop for a moment, recognize our mortal danger, and implement regulations to protect ourselves. Also, lacking the ability to get our sh*t together in time, cherish the lives we have at this moment and the simple joys of being human.

I love it

Review from Dream a Little Dream →

The story of Kenny and Aaron is written between mysteries to be solved and a past that Aaron tries to leave behind but never manages to do so. Piers Ryman does a spectacular job as narrator. He differentiates the voices, making the listener enjoy it twice as much.

Loved it!!

Review from Dream a Little Dream →

This isn’t a light romance desire turns into obsession, and love is tangled with secrets and risk. Some moments feel deliberately slow or heavy, which may not be for everyone, but they suit the dark tone of the story well. Dream a Little Dream is intense, provocative, and haunting. Perfect for readers who enjoy forbidden..
