Droned on to much with the racism, story after story with it was just to much especially in an alien world, it brought the whole story down.. Why make them smart enough to travel the galaxy fighting, then dumb them down when fighting on ground ? Maybe the focus was to much on racism? Definitely..
Awfully pedifilic to start the book. The girl is only 16 and there are grown men sexualizing her. Absolutely gross, I couldn’t get halfway through the first book. This author should be ashamed…and investigated!
I think I would have liked this book much better had I read it instead of listened to it. The difference between the two narrators just really kinda ruined the experience for me. Story wise, it was okay; Not terrible and not excellent either. Will I read the others in the series when they come..
That book 10 ended this series.I wanted it to continue until I could learn if Nicky came back or if Nicky found Peter. Also did Clara become a vampire? More please.

This series is so fun with many twists and turns I didn’t see coming. It’s easy to fall in love with each character and become invested in the story! Wish I could re-listen for the first time!
