The authors shared examples of possible scenarios that would be devastating to humanity, yet remained surprisingly optimistic that humanity could get its collective self together and prevent these events or delay them. The authors do a great job at explaining their perspective, using metaphors and historical examples to illustrate the doom we all potentially face. It was fascinating to read, though a little bit terrifying and depressing. The narrator was very good as well with a serious, deep voice that fit the material well.

I enjoyed this more than I thought- and also scary. I think I agree with them as I’ve seen other articles that engineers don’t really understand how AI works. And if AI can drive people to sucide, it’s not a far reach that a super intelligence would be out for themselves. After all, that is..

This story was so entertaining. Jayden and Rick had me rooting for them. The narration was good and it will be a regular in the holiday rotation.
