A Very important book, written by two scientists who helped creat AI. They give a very important warning and tell us what to do about it. I wasn’t enamored of the reader, nor the first part of the book. I got lost figujring out what he was writing and why. But once the later chapters..
It is imperative to think about this despite the discomfort or despair it might elicit.

Author walked me through understanding basics of how LLMs work and how little humans know of the results. Then how deeply capable and imaginative these things can be and already are. And now I get why ASI is such a big concern.
