Review from The Witch Between Worlds: 10 Book Epic Fantasy Box Set →
This was one of those series that had a promising premise with terrible execution all around. The break for each book seemed arbitrary, like a serialized collection of thoughts rather than worthwhile plot points. The narrator fell flat, especially with his female characters. By book 6, they (author and narrator) stopped being mediocre and fell..
I enjoyed this story, full of adventure, trust & betrayals as well as some very steamy moments and little bit of romance. I love this exciting world of Geroo author created, every story set in this universe is thrilling and captivating in their own way. In this story we follow male Geroo, Jungo, his character..
The narrator takes some getting used to, but eventually you do. The story? I’m half way through it and it makes me cringe how much the author wrote Clara like she’s 13 and not an 18-23 year old adult female. Which makes her “romance” with Elliot feel like father/daughter relationship, that’s extremely creepy. It also..
This series is great. The author keeps you in gaged and always wanting more. I listen mainly at work and I couldn’t help but listen while I was at home too. Definitely recommend.
Delphine has been trapped in emotional ice for most of her life until her verbally & emotionally abusive mother dies. Gascoigne, himself trapped by debt, could really use the help of an heiress’ fortune. However, Delphine, though inexperienced, is not naive & decides to initiate a *mutually* beneficial relationship instead. What follows is funny, sweet,..
Yep. Fantasy. The unusual concept was the only reason I continued after the first book. It could have been so much better without the ridiculous “romance novel” threading through it. If I ever hear the words “delicious” or “smirk” again, I may puke on the spot. Repetitive, useless dialogue … minutes on end of completely..
It is not often that a book moves leaders to do something but this one seems to have done so. 这个书的分析 是厉害的
Fantastic analysis by a credible author. I also recommend the Hundred Year Marathon by Michael Pillsbury. These two works stand tall among the many attempts at explaining the current global challenge.
Brilliant performance by Piers Ryman. Loved these 2 men and how they found unexpected love. The characters are real and raw and well written. So excited there are other stories in this world. I just bought Fletcher’s story and look forward to listening to those books.
