This book focuses on completely different characters than the first story and makes their whole world, ship, and the species involved even more three-dimensional by doing so. This is another excellent book and I feel so privileged to have discovered Rick Griffin’s writing. Piers Ryman has, once again, done a fantastic job of narration. Bravo!

Fantastic audiobook, I found it very engaging with an interesting twist. Would definitely recommend this book to fans of litrpg.
I’ve technically already read this book before, but because I got the Captain’s Oath as an audio book I had figured that it wouldn’t hurt to go through it again. I was still as invested the second time as I was the first time. The performance was pretty solid as well.
