You all know what good standard default isekai is, you may be familiar with specific titles, and this story feels like the culmination of some of the best tropes and mechanics of isekai stories without blasting into your mind that this world is a game all the time (levels, skills, etc)I can’t entirely explain why..
While the first book was above average it quickly falls off starting with this book. The stat pages was a little over bearing in the first book but now it’s unbelievable how often a 5 min stat page is thrown in for no reason. The agenda pushing starts at the last few minutes of chapter..
Kept my interest, easy to follow. Important to read book 1 first, which provides character development.

A feel good, funny, adventure with excellent characters! I enjoyed every minute of this story. It was fast paced and quirky. I cannot wait for book 2!
I didn’t get what I wanted. Balance still slow moving between the two MCs but I’m fully vested and have already bought the next two books
This was a neat post apocalypse scfi Litrpg. Only thing which was ridiculous is MC finds a young woman work all on her own and throws herself at him. Just over the top and not needed at all.
