Why do authors have to throw in ideologies that are not shared by much of society? This has been a good storyline that the ideology did not add to the story. It was just thrown in as added content. But it’s the type of stuff that turns me away from the story. A distraction that..

once you get used to pov changes it’s a great story. however my pet peeve is holier than though trash characters being a main character. Fun, well-written, satisfying continuation of the story. I’m looking forward to book 5. My only grip is something went weird with the recordong at the end of chapter 26.
Even after the end of the world as we know it, people would still be quirky. the book is a funny exploration of that.
