I found this book difficult to get into. I enjoy true crime so it’s not the subject matter but more the delivery that just didn’t hit the mark. I got about half way in and decided I’ve had enough.

I could honestly care less about the so-called good guy, main character and the only entertaining part about his story in this entire book was the twist. seriously though, way too many Zack chapters. The author pads the chapters too much with stats. otherwise really good book

Characters too stupid to live. Unkind to each other. Humour absent. So poor in comparison to the amazing duck & cover series

The reading of stat blocks…for 20 minutes! As the stories go on even the most mundane villains(aka. henchmen) become powerhouses.

Sometimes the author spends too much time on small details. Makes the book drag a bit. Still overall a great story.
