Such a good continuation of the legend of Ryun and friends. Love/hate all the emotions I went through but such a great story regardless.
So good!

it is a very good book. honestly.. the story is hard to follow at times. but really great story! and yes.. there is A LOT of stats.. very few times.. is it necessary… but still this is a great series so far. just finished book 3. I will spend a credit for book 4. also…
This story really kept me anxious—in a good way! I love the magic system and the character development. Can’t wait for more.
I tried these books because I had listened to the author’s Duck and Cover series. I was not disappointed. Witty, fun, and a little bit dark and twisted! I have been reading a lot of spy/thriller books lately; these were a refreshing respite. I will be checking out the rest of Benjamin Wallace’s books.
it was a nice ride. i look forward to the next book. i love how we keep getting deeper into the truths of the mysteries but still have plenty more. love the growth and development of all the characters.
I enjoyed this throughly and I am looking forward to book 2. The swap between past and present is interesting.
Love all world building hopefully this is only the beginning of much more I can see a lot happening with divinity and a ascended realm could lead to a whole new power system
I disliked the fat that the villan does his damage( kills one hero damages two others and lives to fight another da, with an upgrade. while the heroes get censored. Once again evil is triumphant and the heroes with all their improvements look like trash before him.
