Characters are great. Dove is a star. Narrator is fantastic. Storyline is engaging. I’m hooked. I hope this is a long series.

Intricate and interesting story, complex characters, well conceived magic system, the occasional chuckle, excellent narration…a great listen!

I got about 50% through. Though the premise is very interesting and unique, it quickly falls into a simple pattern and doesn’t really have a lot going for it other than its premise

Half the fun of a detective story is trying to determine who the villain iswas before the detective does. in this book there’s no hope of that. The magic is convoluted and the magic words are long and arduous, and repeated frequently. Kind of a dull book. The concept has potential, but is executed poorly.

You find yourself actually in the book if you give it some time the first couple chapters kinda difficult but once it gets going, it doesn’t stop

great blend of creativity, humor, and action! I’m looking forward to more from an author who is now in my search queue!

I found myself tearing up and sometimes straight up crying several times during the series. My only concern is where are they getting all these grenades from? You’d probably only find 6-8 across a platoon of 40 soldiers. Other than that Bobby had several well written characters with solid development 10/10 would recommend

story line is ok. he always gets his butt whipped and then somehow wins in the end. It gets quick annoying.
