The pace
Review from #CrimeTime →
My wife recommended this story to me. As I have recently begun working from home, finding good things to listen to has been a challenge. I will say, though, this story was amazing. As always, my wife was right. The storyline was believable, the pace was spot on and the characters were ones that you..
Pretty good
Review from The Centennial Tournament →
I’m still enjoying the story. Some parts are silly and make no sense, for example, when Raun was in the tournament, he thought to himself while fighting a strong guy, he wanted to win and challenge stronger opponents then in another fight right before he actually lost he thought, do I really want to win…
Not a book about Spot
Review from All the Dust That Falls 3 →
This story is no longer about Spot. It’s about B the church leader who is better at everything than anyone else and everyone loves her for it. Even her pet god Spot rarely goes a moment without thinking about how great she is. In the first book B was a spoiled kid neglected by her..
Lauren can’t drive! Cal still calls “XY” “SpaceXY”! There is zero character development.
Review from Sting of the Mustard Mines (Dramatized Adaptation) →
Could be a great series if characters were dynamic, not static, trope spewing, low level writing vehicles for bad jokes. Still love it but God does it drive me nuts when Lauren crashes or Mizz sexually harasses Cal. Was funny three times in the first book, then it became the flogging of a dead horse.
very entertaining
