Too much cussing and sex. The other books this author wrote were much better. It would have been good otherwise. so disappointing 👎
Decent enough story but so long winded, sometimes 6 or 7 chapters with lots of filler that could have been condensed into a single chapter.
good series but using to much filler going over stats over and over as you progress through the series
I have had this to my best list. Listen to this book twice and plan on keeping it. Stands out to me as a almost positive outlook of humanity. Something I needed right now in these troubled times.
in the lit RPG world there are so many books that are fun reads there are very few that are good books this manages to be both. It has a pretty simple take on the genre tropes but it expands on them in a way that very few books do I would recommend this to..
A whirlwind tour of Roman history into ten minute vignettes, each designed to be listened in a single sitting. The collection spans the founding myths of Rome, the Republic’s political intrigue, the height of the Empire, and its dramatic decline.
I do love this series. Book 4 was solid, just not as good as previous books in the series. But hey, not every book can be a home run. Phil Thron elevates this book from a 2 star to a 3star by giving a 5 star performance (as usual).
This book contains some great stories about the whiskey industry that I am willing to bet many readers would not know
