I didn’t like how the dialogue dragged on in some areas with repeated themes that didn’t seem to add anything to the characters development. But the story was so fun and entertaining that the drag could be overlooked.

Oddly, he didn’t brag enough. His college football stories were way better than his pro stories.

Necromancer progression stories are quite rare and this one does an excellent job at doing just that. I’m looking forward to the additional books in the series.
