I listened to chrysalis from this author prior and it was a solid book, not the very best litrpg but I did finish it and it was fine. this is a great step up in writing quality.
Enjoyed the interplay of characters with the story. Would listen again as sure I missed parts from laughing so hard.
Do yourself a favor and get this series. I have been reading fantasy for 40+ years. This story is fantastic. Engaging, well written, great dialogue, good character development and solid plot. The performance was top notch. Some laugh out loud moments, especially with Dove.
