I hadn’t read anything from Barry J Hutchison before so I didn’t know what an uproariously fun ride I was in for! I don’t often while listening to other audio books, but I laughed out loud over and over again. And when you think the story is over, just hang tight. There’s more!

Fun addition to the series! Glad it picked back up and we get even more!

One of the best series I’ve listened to in a long time. Well worth the credit or purchase.

This is Number 12 and it still made me cry from laughter. If you made it to 11 don’t stop and keep going with this one!

people saying it’s the best haven’t read many another in the genre though. the main character doesn’t understand people whatsoever and has zero common sense. he’s always the last person to figure things out. narrator doesn’t know military terms and it’s offputting for a series that has a lot of military equipment.

It’s not all fun and games (no spoilers here though), but the narrator is great as ever and the story is and great ride. It gets bogged down a little in some parts making it feel like it has to rush in others, but overall a lot of what we’ve come to enjoy about this..

I really enjoyed listening to this gritty, funny and unique take on the post apocalyptic genere. I wish there were more.

This series always makes me laugh out loud. A fun listen. Perfect for when you don’t want to think too hard but need a lift.

This was a great deal getting the box set, the narration was superb and I’m a bit of an RC Bray snob. Overall this is one of my favorite series to date.
