One of my favorite things about the chrysalis series was the lack of explicit language. I feel that when authors use this kind of language it feels out of place. It also seems lazy. You are a word-smith for Pete’s sake. Do better 🙂

The main character is intelligent and interesting. I look forward to getting the next books.

Great story, great characters this has become one of my favorite series of all time!

It’s getting more rare that when a series gets into its third title it turns out to be better than the previous two. This book fills the bill. Funny and interesting.

The most interesting character in a long time is Ryun. Great back story. Interesting dialogue. Fascinating journey. Could not wait to hear more. But instead we get a lot of Zach. Russian authors big man around town arrogance in their characters is always grating and spoils a good narrative with unnecessary grossness. The constant questioning of everything can get pretty annoying too like damn no one with a mind like that should be in the field as a fighter! Makes me long for the anti intellectual..

Seriously, I picked this up impulsively as a random trash book I could put on in the background at work, so why the heck was I tearing up at the end of this story about a vacuum? How was this so good? It was funny without relying on the usual litrpg snarkiness, it was action..

Definitely a differnt take on the ZA for me. Great story line, and characters. I felt as if I knew the MCs. Over all good book and good listen. The narrator does a pretty good job distinguishing characters when they talk. He also makes it easy to fallow along and get lost in the story.

good narration, that’s about it the story sucks and had a lot of plot holes. very younger adult fantasy boring for most of it finished the whole book just to be sure.

This has to be the best yet! Benjamin Wallace and Phil Thron are masters at what they do! I cannot wait for the next installment. I’ve listened to every Benjamin Wallace Book available and have enjoyed each one!
