This book has great parts, but half a dozen chapters out of nearly a hundred isn’t a good book. There are a lot of side stories. About half of them are worth listening to. The rest are skip able. For obvious reasons… no one likes Zack. He is a narcissistic hypocrite with a bleeding heart…

Was almost a good book. I never really liked Zack, being a narcissistic hypocrite is one thing, but having to pull a deus ex machina just to keep him relevant… It erks me, sure if you are going to go “time is ‘wibbly wobbly, timey wimey’”, but to establish a narrative about how powers work..

I love the series, and I am going to continue the series as long as it keeps coming with the heat. So I enjoyed a lot of this book yet it was lacking in some areas. I am not going to go deep, but I think the author has to make up for that ending…

Overall, the series is great, and this book continues with the huge book without too much excess. I will say though, this book is mostly a character build book. They spend most of the book evolving their skills.

I was getting extremely frustrated with a consistent character swapping it became to the point where I felt like this whole book was more about Zach and the people around reun and found myself extremely frustrated by that fact, a lot of the times I couldn’t help..
