This was an awesome first book for a series. Sol is a complicated character. He has these amazing powers but they are hard to control and can even hurt those he tries to save. I am a huge fan of post -apocalyptic genre and this has been one of my favorite listens! Awesome narrator had me completely immersed in the story, great diverse character voices, great flow…. I highly recommend this!

I was interested in reading about Dr. John Mack after having read his ground shaking book ABDUCTION. I knew Dr. Mack suffered blow back from his research into the UFO questions. So this book was a nice explanation of where Mack came from and how he got to his beliefs. A worthwhile listen if you..

I loved this book series and am listening it to the the second time around. There’s a depth to the characters and you grow to care about their survival. I’m a fan!

I absolutely love anything by Barry J. Hutchison! I started this journey with “The Sidekicks Initiative” and so it was very cool to hear a familiar voice in Phil Thron’s performance!

Kept me interested until the end. 55+ hours and I looked forward to listening every day.
