This was a really fun sequel in an already great series. Colorful and hysterical. Phil Thron does an incredible job at narrating, never missing a beat with each character and perfectly executing inflections: I loved Tira’s childish “Bested” outbursts.

I like Ryun I dislike Zack. The book is mostly Zack and I stopped reading it shortly after the last Ryun Chapter. When zack gains power I don’t like it. When he gets super lucky I don’t like it. If he died randomly I would be happy. Anyways decent but a weird bate and switch…
The book is great. It is more about the Finnish culture and mindset than about some methodology. Worth listening twice.
Bunch of useless and repetitive info dump. Addition of massive amounts of cannon fodder npcs. 65% focused on Zach, the mc we could give a cr”p about. The unnecessary effort to try making Ryun unlikable.

I love post apocalyptic books. So I may be biased. Bit I really enjoyed this 9 book set. I can’t believe I got all 9 books for 1 credit! The audio book set is over 55 hours long and I enjoyed every second of it. Narrated well, and kept me wanting more the whole 55..
