This isn’t my favorite book in the series, maybe partly because of the high amount of action scenes (somehow I get easily confused during action scenes) and (minor spoiler alert) I felt bad for Splurt. This book is probably orientated towards young adults. If you overlook the somewhat childish humor and simplistic plot premise, which is at times overly convenient, then this turns out to be an entertaining read/listen. There is a fair amount of gratuitous/pointless swearing (usually in attempt to be humorous), which may be off-putting for some readers/listeners…

This was exactly what I was looking for and is a great value for your money. Its full of adventure, zombies, gore, friendship, betrayal, and weird sh*^ that goes wrong when the world ends. I only gave it three stars because I wouldn’t classify it as an extraordinary piece of literature. But its good fun..
