great story, lots of laughs .people in my office must think im a lunatic. I was not familiar with this narrator but he really delivered a 5 star performance.. if I could give this ten stars I totally would. if this is on your wish list buy with confidence! this is a good one.
I lauhed a lot. And c’mon, who doesn’t like to laugh a lot? I think that superheroes are ridiculous so I love it when authors have fun with it. And I totally pictured Barry having a lot of fun writing this. Phil Thron did a great performance. I always figured the narrator read the books..

I must say, food for thought. The telling of these theories and Mr Shaw’s presentation of chains of events that tie these three people together helped to humanize them. I like Mr Shaw’s passion as he knocks down the pedestals we have erected we have erected then celebrates the lives and accomplishments of these three..
I have listened to this book many times for its humor. I wish I could get the author to write more of the series. [In case Hutchinson is reading, more Dan Deadman would be great, too. ]
Blumenthal’s title best expresses his evaluation of Mack, both the good and the bad. This was a fascinating and balanced look into the trials and triumphs of Mack and his work, which Blumenthal aptly wraps up likening unto the Campbellian/ Jungian Hero’s Journey.
